Favorite food podcast

My favorite food podcast, (after two years of listening), is Good Food. It’s from the Santa Monica, CA public radio station KCRW.

A one-hour weekly podcast hosted by Evan Kleiman, a restaurant owner and chef, it always starts with a review of what’s fresh at the Santa Monica farmer’s market. Even though we can’t get there easily, the farmer’s market report usually is the source of cooking ideas. That’s followed by three are three or four interviews with food-related folk. I just listened to an episode today and learned how to make vinegar from left over wine. (Although I rarely have any leftover vino…) I usually listen in the car and rarely fast-forward through a show, which to me is a sign that it’s well done.
